If you’ve ever asked, “What would it take to have a more meaningful, satisfying professional or personal life?” join Pam Burks of Pam Speaks! for this session. In this content-rich, interactive session, learn the tools to become a more empathetic, active listener. Whether you are an association professional or supplier, listening is key to building credibility and trust. Using stories, illustrations and humor, Pam will highlight the benefit of mastering active listening skills. Participants will learn:

  • How one-way versus two-way communication may impact a professional or personal relationship.
  • How to define the value of replacing poor listening habits by mastering active listening skills.
  • How effective questions, in addition to active listening, can influence an expected result.
  • How to apply active listening skills to solve a situational, not-so-fictional, association problem.
